I first designed and shaped this board around 8 years ago. The first one for a mate, a really good surfer so it had to be something that had performance, but he was after something different. The result was a single fin with an old school outline, with few modern features that I believed would give it a lot more spark. 

As a single fin it blows my mind what it can do and feedback has been great. But, I’ve been thinking and researching the possibilities of surfing it with different fin setups. So, I got to work, and yep, I was on to something. It’s got a single concave that I know is not too traditional for a single fin, but it works. Now we’ve also added 4 more fins in. We are surfing it with 4 fins, 3 fins, twins with a small back stable fin and as a single fin. It  has a different feel with every fin setup, it’s 4 boards in one.

 

I’ve been really happy with the feedback I have been getting from people riding my Ding A Ling, and I’m really excited for it to create more smiles, hahahahaha.
